Letters to Delacroix, 1826-1851.

The collection comprises 15 manuscript letters received by Delacroix from three of his friends between 1826 and 1855. It consists of eight letters written between 1832 and 1846 by the diplomat and collector Félix Feuillet de Conches, four letters dated from 1826-1828 by the English watercolorist Thalès Fielding, one letter dated 1855 from the draughtsman and printmaker Newton Fielding, and two letters dated 1826-1828 from the writer and draughtsman Henry Monnier.
